Shooting for Specialized in Maui's Makawao Forest was an exciting dive into the island's underground performance park bike scene. Nestled among dense trees and rugged trails, the forest is a hidden playground for Maui's biking community. This shoot allowed me to showcase the raw talent and dedication of local riders who push limits daily in this challenging terrain. We also shot up on Skyline Trail on top of Haleakalā, where the high-altitude views and open ridgelines offered a stark and stunning contrast to the forest below. It was a privilege to bring Specialized’s gear to life against such dynamic backdrops, highlighting the vibrant energy and grit that fuel Maui’s unique biking culture.
