In 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph Pe'ahi (Jaws) on Maui's north shore during a legendary, once-in-a-decade swell that brought athletes from around the globe to tackle its monstrous waves. To capture the sheer power and skill of the surfers from a unique vantage, we partnered with "Gofly Maui" and spent two thrilling hours in the air. It was an unforgettable experience, framing the raw energy of nature and human courage from above.
